Flexible use
Our exclusive rectangular models are equipped with bending and swivelling devices. As soon as the sun is lower, one single action is all it takes to realign the shade without having to change the position of the parasol. Depending on the model, a ball-bearing turnable base may also be available that rotates 360 degrees and enables stepless tilting of the parasol roof.
Features of the crank
Many of our rectangular parasols are very easy to open and close thanks to a removable hand crank. Optionally, some models can be controlled by a motor drive via remote control. The parasol height can be easily adjusted thanks to a gas compression spring in the parasol mast
Fixing options
Depending on where you want to place your rectangular parasol, you can choose from a variety of parasol stands and holders – from the classic base to the balcony clamp. Your local certified Glatz dealer will advise you on the fixing solution best suited to your needs.
Rectangular parasols fit perfectly in angled areas, where they can be placed flush with the wall of the building. This makes them particularly practical when space is limited.
Rectangular or square parasols are much less common in private homes than round parasols. This makes them a real eye-catcher wherever they are used.
Since most patios and balconies are rectangular, a rectangular parasol will make it easier for you to shade them with pinpoint accuracy. The shape ensures that you get a better and more suitable shade yield.
Just as for round parasols, Glatz offers a wide range of configuration options for its rectangular models. Colour, span, operating device and accessories – the choice is yours.
