Parasol configuratorThe Thurgau Business Award is sponsored by four partners—the Thurgau Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Thurgau Trade Association, the Thurgau Cantonal Bank, and the Department of Home Affairs and Economic Affairs of the Canton of Thurgau. The award was first presented in 1999. The jury consists of nine prominent figures from the business and political sectors. The winner receives a trophy inspired by the region, known as the “Thurgau Apple,” as well as a cash prize of 10,000 Swiss francs. The award honors companies or corporate groups, municipalities, associations, and other organizations—and, in exceptional cases, individuals—for outstanding contributions to Thurgau as a business location.
Glatz AG was awarded the Thurgau Business Award 2026 on April 15. In the presence of numerous representatives from the worlds of politics and business, owner and Chairman of the Board Markus Glatz accepted the award during a festive ceremony at his company’s headquarters in Frauenfeld. The long-established family business impressed the jury with its innovative strength, regional roots, and continuous development.
