When a Swiss classic meets a master of colour, a parasol is created that transforms every garden into a meadow of flowers. The new ALEXO® Kaffe Fassett Edition ignites a true textile firework of colours. In collaboration with artist Kaffe Fassett, who has inspired people around the world for more than 60 years with his vibrant works, this classic wooden parasol now blossoms in new colours and patterns.
A floral design with character
With the ALEXO® Kaffe Fassett Edition, a design by Kaffe Fassett is printed for the first time on a parasol in fabric quality 5. The design named “Enchanted Magenta” features rounded floral shapes and a vivid colour composition. The pattern is expressive while remaining balanced and timeless.

High fabric quality for long-term use
The canopy is made of polyacrylic fabric quality 5 and meets the highest standards in durability, lightfastness and UV protection. The fabric is certified with the label “UV-Protection > 98%” and achieves a lightfastness level of 7–8. As a result, the colour intensity remains for at least 350 to 700 days without losing its brilliance.
Proven shape, sophisticated function
The ALEXO® is one of the classics among wooden parasols. Its pole made of Swiss ash wood, the robust toothed joint made of chrome-plated die-cast zinc and the domed canopy define its distinctive appearance. Thanks to its tilt function up to 90° and its rotation around its own axis, the shade can be aligned easily and flexibly. With a diameter of 200 to 220 cm, the ALEXO® is also suitable for smaller areas.
Kaffe Fassett and his world of colour
For this edition, we collaborated with internationally acclaimed designer Kaffe Fassett. An artist who has captivated people for more than sixty years with his colour-intensive visual language – as a painter, mosaic artist, knitting and textile designer. His fabrics, patterns and books are sources of inspiration for textile lovers worldwide. Few understand how to evoke emotions through colour as masterfully as Kaffe.
