There is a hole in my GLATZ sunshade fabric. How can it be repaired?

The question of whether a hole in the sunshade fabric can be repaired or not depends on the material attributes of the sunshade fabric.

If your sunshade cover is covered with a fabric of GLATZ material classes 2 or 4, this means it is a polyester fabric that cannot be repaired. In this case, the sunshade fabric has to be completely replaced.

If your sunshade cover is covered with a fabric of GLATZ material class 5, this means that it is poly-acrylic. In this case, the hole can be repaired, resulting in a visible repair, or individual segments can be replaced. A significant amount of manual work is required for the removal of the sunshade fabric, its transportation to and from the place of the repair, and the refitting of the fabric.

GLATZ recommends that you discuss the precise details with the retailer from whom you purchased your product. In exceptional cases, e.g. if your dealer has gone out of business or you are not satisfied with your Glatz dealer, you can send us your request directly via the support form.
